Ministries
The musical tradition of the universal Church is a treasure of inestimable value, greater even than that of any other art. The main reason for this pre-eminence is that, as a combination of sacred music and words, it forms a necessary or integral part of solemn liturgy. The composition and singing of inspired psalms, often accompanied by musical instruments, were already closely linked to the liturgical celebrations of the Old Covenant.

Music Ministry - Choirs and Instrumentalists
People of all ages that have a reasonably good singing voice are invited to become choir members to lead the congregation at Mass. Anyone who can serve as an instrumental accompanist is welcome to come to a rehearsal and learn to play with the choir.
We have traditional choirs for the 4pm & 6pm Saturday Vigil Mass and contemporary choirs for the 10:30am and 5pm Sunday Mass.
Commitment includes a weekly rehearsal, a weekend Mass and sometimes special liturgies. This does not require a long term contract or a lifetime commitment, just a love of Christ and a desire to serve Him in His Church. May God bless you.
If you are interested in joining us, please stop by the choir after Mass or contact the parish office.
