Mission Statement
The Spirituality Ministry strives to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of God’s word and to spread that word to others through prayer, sacrifice, works of mercy, missions, and other spirit-filled activities. It is the ministry’s hope to increase enthusiasm for our faith throughout our parish community in all that we do.
Current Projects:
- Organize Spiritual day trips to nearby shrines, churches or other holy places.
- Host Spiritual themed Movie nights.
- Maintain Parish Prayer Line as well as collect prayer requests from the chapel then distribute to members to pray for the specific request.
- Planning for future activities; retreat, adoration, stations of the cross, etc..
- Assist as needed with any spiritual activities or events hosted by the church.
- Visitations to the Homebound
Meetings:
The group meets on the third Thursday of the month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the parish center. All are welcome. Besides planning events we participate in group prayer, scripture reading/reflection and discussion at every meeting.
