Charismatic Prayer Group

First & Third Tuesdays, 6:30 pm - 9 pm

Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings in the parish hall from January to June starting at 6:30pm with fellowship, and at 7pm we begin with praise ending around 8pm.  We take a break in the summer, coming back in September through the 1st Tuesday in December.

We invite you to come and share an hour of praise and worship to the Holy Trinity-the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We open with prayer then we sing songs of praise, thanking the Lord for His many blessings. Our songs are lively songs of praise, which you can hear at the 10:30am or 5pm Mass, for it has been said that those who sing to the Lord pray twice. Scripture, especially Psalms, say to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

All prayer group activities are designed to bring people into a stronger relationship with our Lord and Savior, through an awakening of the Holy Spirit which we were already sealed within our soul on the day of our baptism.

There are moments of silence where we sit quietly before the Lord. We have spiritual readings, talks proceeded by more songs of worship. We share what the Lord is doing in our lives. We petition the Lord for His help in ours daily life. Towards the end of the meeting, we will pray over those who have special intentions.

There are many forms of Catholic worship, we invite you to try St. Thomas Aquinas Prayer Group.
