The Ladies Guild of STA is open to all women in the parish. The organization's goals are :
1. To promote the spiritual growth of women.
2. To provide social activities in a Christian environment
3. To offer service to the parish and community.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month from Sept. through May at 1 PM. The Rosary is recited in Church prior to each meeting.
The Ladies Guild Calendar of Events this year includes a Holiday Bazaar, a Christmas Luncheon, a Card Party and a Trash and Treasures sale. They sponsor an Annual Mass for members, a Day of Recollection and two Anointing Masses..
Members of The Ladies Guild have an Arts and Crafts group that meets every Tuesday at 10:00am in the Parish Hall. They Make Rosary beads for the Missions and hand-made articles to sell at the Holiday Bazaar.
Rosary Makers A subset of the ladies Guild, this group meets each Tuesday morning to make and repair rosaries. Over the past several years more than 15,000 rosaries have been sent to mission lands. The group gives a rosary to each child at First Holy Communion.
Scouting We have troops of Cub Scouts, Brownies and Daisies that meet in our parish. Scouting seeks to increase children's self potential, help them relate to others with respect and understanding, and encourages them to act upon their Christian values by contributing to the community. Our scouts assist at several parish functions.
Travel Club Parishioners have the opportunity to join others for bus trips and cruises. Regular announcements are contained in the parish bulletin. All members of the parish are invited to participate in any of these activities.
