Saint Vincent De Paul Society

US blackSaint Vincent De Paul Society at STA responds to the needs of the poor, the hungry, the sick and the homeless. We are volunteers who receive gifts from our generous family of donors at STA and distribute them to those in need. We maintain a call-in line (727-372-8600 ext. 42) to offer help with utility bills, rent payments, transportation, food and clothing. We also operate a food pantry in our Parish Hall on Monday and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Our officers are: President Diane Mentel, Vice President Cathy Dempsey, Treasurer Gerard Donlon, Secretary Margaret Pistole, Recording Secretary Peg Duffner

December 2011 Report Highlights: 62 STA families (194 people) were helped with 142 bags of food, and 18 "Holiday Families" (representing 55 people) were helped with 42 bags of food.  In total, 4,377 lbs. of food were distributed.  For the period of 12/5/11 through 12/31/11, 17 visits were made to clients at home and 53 clients were helped by these visits.
